Apple Releases iTunes 7.3.1 - can now stream photos from any Mac to AppleTV
Apple - Support - Downloads - iTunes 7.3.1 for Mac - among other things, can stream photos from any Mac (yay!) - so maybe I DON'T need to upgrade the onboard 40GB drive....
BUT....I just ran software update on my MacBook and HORRIBLE THINGS happened, I'll blog on it on hdforindies.com shortly, so maybe DON'T do these yet!

Yeah, so... uh... any details? I mean, anyone's alptop could be so afflicted while you're sitting on this information, posing like some tease. What's the deal?
AppleTV photo streaming was included with the original 7.3 update (for the iPhone launch). Photo streaming was long overdue, but it works well. One minor catch, you can't stream photos from the machine you sync to. So if you don't sync all of your photos from that computer, you won't be able to stream the remaining photos from it. This isn't the case with music and video.
